The Church of the Firstborn, Even the Church of God the Father, is the higher Family Order restored through Joseph Smith and formally organized in the modern work under Patriarch Fred C. Collier.
Joseph Smith and Nauvoo
The roots of the Church of the Firstborn are in Joseph Smith’s final Nauvoo teachings: the Holy Order, the Temple, the Endowment, Celestial Marriage, Adoption, the Council of Fifty, and the Kingdom of God. Those subjects are treated on the Holy Order, Temple, Endowment, Adoption, and Council of Fifty pages.
Priesthood Line
The modern authority claim is treated in detail on The Priesthood Line. In brief, the line presented there runs from Joseph Smith to Benjamin F. Johnson, Alma Dayer LeBaron, Ross Wesley LeBaron, and Fred C. Collier.
Formal Organization
Fred’s 1992 Manti address, The Church of the Firstborn & Its Formal Organization, relates his own account of the formal organization of the Church of the Firstborn and the accompanying Priesthood-line history.
Publications
The Church’s public teaching work is preserved through doctrinal and historical publications, especially the Doctrine of the Priesthood series, the Book of Revelations, and related historical and doctrinal works in the Gospel Library.
