The Book of Revelations is a compilation of revelations given to Patriarch Fred C. Collier across the course of his life and ministry, beginning in his eighteenth year (1967) and continuing through the years of his presiding role over the Church of the Firstborn. Each revelation was received by direct communication of the Spirit, recorded by Patriarch Collier as it was given, and preserved as it has come forth.
The volume opens with this dedication, in Patriarch Collier’s own words:
To the Eternal Family of God the Father & the Restoration of the House of Israel — To the Establishment of the Church of the Firstborn & the Promulgation of the Fulness of the Gospel of the Father — To the Establishment of the Law of the Fulness of the Priesthood & the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ & To my Wives & Children.

Regarding This Work (in Patriarch Collier’s words)
From the time I was a child, I was taught that it was the Personal Right and Responsibility of every member of the Church to so live as to be Worthy of the Companionship of the Holy Ghost. Through Communion with the Spirit, every Worthy member of the Church was to receive Personal Revelation from God for the Guidance of their own Life and Calling in the Priesthood.
The Holy Ghost is a Revelator, and through Communion with the Spirit, members of the Church were to receive a Personal Testimony of the Gospel, as well as Knowledge of Doctrine and Theology.
Patriarch Collier records that an early major doctrinal revelation came in November 1967, when he was eighteen years old, on the bench in Ogden, Utah, on the way home from work. The revelation set forth Six Self-Existent Principles of the Universe — Time, Space, Matter, Energy, Life, and Law — and the Self-Existent nature of intelligences and the Self-Conscious essence of their eternal being. Subsequent revelations followed across the decades that followed, on a wide range of doctrinal, prophetic, and personal subjects.
